Round-trip shipping is included in the price for Pcm Obd2 testing and repair services. This covers shipping your powertrain control module (PCM) to us and returning it to you after service. If purchasing a new PCM or IDM, shipping includes delivery to you and return of the old core.
PCM OBD2 Shipping Process: Streamlined and Efficient
After you order, we’ll email a prepaid shipping label and the nearest drop-off location (UPS Store, Post Office, etc.). Our discounted rates are typically 15-20% lower than standard UPS store prices. This streamlined process simplifies shipping your PCM OBD2.
If you prefer to use your own shipping method, bypass online checkout and send your PCM OBD2 with a completed Customer & Vehicle Information sheet (link provided below). We’ll invoice you separately.
Packing Your PCM OBD2: Ensuring Safe Arrival
Proper packaging is crucial to prevent damage during transit. Use ample bubble wrap or crumpled paper within a sturdy cardboard box. Avoid envelopes, even padded ones, as they lack sufficient protection for your PCM OBD2. Damage due to inadequate packaging is the customer’s responsibility.
Important PCM OBD2 Shipping Notes: FICM, IDM, and Chips
Before shipping a FICM (Fuel Injection Control Module), remove the rubber grommets. Do not send IDMs (Injector Driver Modules) with the steel mounting bracket or PCMs with the plastic mounting bracket.
If you’re using a performance chip with your PCM OBD2, include it for testing. Ensure the chip is installed in the PCM or sealed in a resealable bag to prevent loss.
