I have a report that runs in the BI Portal but uses SQL pass through. In MSSMS it runs in 11 seconds, but in WebFOCUS it takes over 20 minutes! The approach I would take is to take the SQL statements within SSRS and use the SQL pass through option when creating the WebFOCUS procedures.
